Discounted zoo admission this weekend!

You can get discounted admission to both the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo and the Pueblo Zoo this weekend!  Both zoos are offering discounts in exchange for donations of Cheerios cereal to Care and Share food bank.  There have been some great deals on Cheerios lately, so you probably have some you’ve gotten for pretty cheap!

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is offering buy one, get one free admission with each donation of a box of Cheerios, and the Pueblo Zoo is offering half-price admission to each person to bring in a box of Cheerios.

The discount is valid this Saturday and Sunday, August 21-22.  Thanks to the Gazette for the tip!

And, it’s a ways out, but there’s also a military discount day coming up at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo: on September 18-19, the zoo will offer military families admission of just $4.25.  This includes everyone in your family as long as there’s one with valid military ID.  I’m happy that Springs Bargains’ current sponsor, Ent Federal Credit Union, is sponsoring this event to show appreciation to our military!  More info here.
