There are two free events going on this weekend! Rock Ledge Ranch will be having their annual Harvest Festival, celebrating the bounty of a traditional harvest. Admission to the ranch is free, but fees to apply to most activities, like wagon rides, the pumpkin patch, candy scramble, and more.
We went to the harvest festival a couple of years ago and had a great time listening to music, watching the historical demonstrations, and petting the animals. Get more info here.
You can also head to Old Colorado City, where the annual Great Pumpkin Weigh-Off will be taking place! The event officially lasts from 10 AM to 4 PM, but pumpkin judging and awards will happen at noon in the parking lot at 25th and Colorado.
We went to this event right after we went to the Harvest Festival a couple of years ago and had fun taking photos with the giant pumpkins and hanging out in beautiful Old Colorado City! More info here.
