If you haven’t already heard, a new daily deal service is coming to Colorado Springs: LocalCouponBuzz.com launches this Friday with a sweet deal of the day for Colorado Springs!  I’m excited to have them as our current sponsor, and asked them a few questions so you can learn more about what they’re all about.

What’s LocalCouponBuzz.com all about? How is it different that other group-coupon-buying services?

LocalCouponBuzz.com is a new online coupon deal of the day service. Recently organized by several business people from Colorado Springs, we saw a specific need to provide a very competitive service that provides family-friendly coupons and discounts from local merchants.

In many ways we are like a deal-of-the-day service; however, there are a couple of things that make us unique: first, we are here in Colorado Springs. We know the communities in and around Colorado Springs and can meet personally with merchants. Second, our niche is to be family-friendly. This means listening to our subscribers and community and letting them tell us what types of deals they would like to see.

Will there be a minimum number of people required to purchase the deals?

Our deal is always on. It’s good for our customers and our ‘buy’ button really does mean you get the deal.

How many emails will we receive if we sign up? Do we have to sign up to purchase the deals?

If a person signs up, they will receive a daily email from the city of their choice. We also have options other than email, such as RSS feeds. A person must register to purchase a deal; however, they can unsubscribe or opt-out at any point.

What types of deals will we be seeing? Can you give us a sneak peek of any businesses that have signed up or is that top-secret?

I think car services would be great too! Things that will help our subscribers with great deals while bringing new customers to Colorado Springs Merchants.

We are local business investing our time and resources into this adventure. Our goal in the next six months is to establish LocalCouponBuzz.com as Colorado Spring premier “deal-of-the-day” service before we bring this to Denver and the Ft. Collins / Boulder / Loveland area.
