Patriot Day: free events from Chick-fil-A and Focus on the Family

There are two free Patriot Day events going on this weekend:

On Friday and Saturday, Focus on the Family is celebrating Patriot Day by giving away kids goodie bags, food, free movie showings, copies of the Constitution, and more.  Plus, their bookstore is offering some sort of a “special discount” to military branches, police, firefighters and emergency personnel.  More info here.  Thanks, Dawn!

And on Saturday, local Chick-fil-As will host military, fire, and police and patriotic activities from 10 AM – 2 PM: includes flight for life, K9 demonstrations, Rock Climbing Walls.  They told me there will be “lots of trucks to touch”, so sounds like fun for the kiddos!

Not Patriot Day related, but just a reminder that you can experience the Colorado Country Club for $10 per person or $20 per family on Saturday.  More info here.
