Lots of stuff going on this week at Albertson’s: they continue to double, triple, and quadruple coupons, which basically means that all of your coupons below $1 will multiply up t0 $1.00.
I shopped at Albertson’s yesterday and noticed they actually had a coupon policy posted at the checkout! They didn’t have a copy that I could take with me, but here’s basically what it was:
- Limit of three like coupons will be doubled. Any more than that will be redeemed at face value.
- Coupons that state “do not double” will not be multiplied. (No mention of internet coupons that do not state DND)
- Overage is not given – coupon will only be multiplied up to value of item.
- If a face-value coupon is more than the value of the item, they will not give overage.
That’s what I can recall in my own words. If you’re able to get an official copy of this policy, please contact me!
Moving on… If you’re a senior, you can get a 10% discount today. They’re having a military discount day on Saturday, where active, reserve, or retired military personnel can receive an additional 10% off their order. And, you can get 10% off on Sundays if you wear your football jersey.
There’s an in-ad coupon for a free turkey (up to 15 lbs) with a $100 purchase (the turkey does not count as part of the minimum purchase). Last year at Thanksgiving, we saw turkeys anywhere from $0.39-$0.60/lb. If you’re going to spend $100 anyway, get the free turkey, but I think we’ll see much better deals soon.
