Gap: 10,000 pairs of free jeans on Friday!

Gap is giving away 10,000 pairs of jeans on Friday, November 5th!  Here’s how it works: you’ll need to check into Gap using Facebook Places, then your your check-in to a Gap employee.  If you’re one of the first 10,000 to check in across the country, you’ll get a free pair!  If you don’t make it, they’ll still give you a discount of 40% off.  Go here for all the details, including information on how Facebook Places works.

Here’s my only question: if it’s good for the first 10,000 to check in across the country, how is that going to affect those of us who aren’t on the East Coast?  By the time our Gap stores open at 10 AM, it will already be noon in the Easter time zone.  Hmm…

I would totally be there as I think it’s a pretty good odds of getting a free pair even if we are in a later time zone – but I’m not going to spend hundreds of dollars on an iPhone (yet) to get in on this deal. ;)
