Safeway Weekly: turkeys for 33-42¢/lb

The turkey sales are starting – I’m not sure I even want to look at the calendar and realize how close Thanksgiving is!  I think some of these turkey deals could be good if you are able to find the maximum size allowed for the price.  But, I also don’t think they are anything we won’t see again, and there may be better deals in the next week or two.

If you are able to find a 24-pound turkey and get it for $0.33/lb, you should get a prize!  I’m not a fan of the flat-rate turkeys, because it always makes me feel like I need to spend 10 minutes searching for the absolute best turkey for the rate. ;)
