Weekend Event: Downtown Christmas Parade

This Saturday is the Colorado Springs Festival of Lights Parade!  It starts at 5:50 PM and runs south down Tejon starting at St. Vrain.

I know it’s cold, but if you want a good viewing spot you’ll want to get there early so you can actually see.  If you’re late, I’d recommend heading to the south part of the parade route as it obviously takes longer for the parade to get down there, and there seem to be fewer people on the south half of the route.

My kids love parades, and a parade + Christmas lights is almost more excitement than they can handle!
