Free and cheap baby food at Safeway!

What’s a “catalina”?

Buy any Gerber 1st, 2nd or 3rd food purees from December 3-26:

Spend $10-$19.99, Get $5 Catalina
Spend $20-$24.99, Get $7 Catalina
Spend $25 or more, Get $10 Catalina

There are some that are on sale for $1.00, and there various Gerber coupons that are available – the ones that were on [coupons.com] are gone now, unfortunately, but hopefully you printed them when they were available!

Here’s one way to work the deal if you have coupons:

Gerber Baby Food 1st, 2nd, – $1.00
Plus, get a $5 catalina when you spend $10
Buy 10 and use five $0.75/2 Gerber Puree – 11/14/2010 RP Insert
Net cost at checkout: $5.00 for five, plus earn a $5 catalina
Net cost after catalina: free!

Even if you don’t have coupons, it’s still a pretty good deal at $0.50 per jar, I think.  You can use the $5 catalina to purchase more, and earn another catalina  – rinse and repeat until December 26th!

My brain is verrrrrry foggy right now, but I think the best deal is to spend exactly $10, right?  If you spend $10 and earn a $5 catalina, it’s 50% off… Whereas if you spend $25 and earn $10, it’s only 40% off?
