In which I whine, and tell you about a great cereal deal at Safeway

My trip to Safeway today couldn’t have gone much worse. I’m going to whine in bulleted-list form:

• Manager/checker failed to take 50% off the almost-expired yogurt I bought, meaning I paid full price for yogurt that expires tomorrow.
• Forgot to give them my Crest coupons, so I paid $1.98 for two tubes of toothpaste that I was only getting because it was “free”.
• Did the below Post cereal deal, and paid about $2.00 extra because I asked my 5-year-old to grab the fifth box and he unknowingly picked the bigger box that was not on sale.
• Kids ran wild because Safeway’s carts are not equipped for four kids.
• Coupons wouldn’t scan because the manager/checker didn’t know how to work the computer.

There, I feel better.
