Thrift Store Review: This N’ That Store

After I visited Bargain Mart scratch and dent grocery store, I headed east on Colorado Avenue towards Goodwill (review coming next week!) and Recess Consignment.  I saw a small sign that said “thrift store open today” a few doors down from Recess, so I stopped in, hoping this little bungalow would be the thrift store of my dreams.

Note: my dreams = cramped, disorganized thrift store full of vintage goodness whose owner has no idea how much it’s worth.

Well… This N’ That Shoppe wasn’t the thrift store of my dreams.  I was pretty bummed by this one – they didn’t have much.  Some women’s and men’s clothes, DVDs (or maybe even VHS, I can’t remember now), and a few knick knacks.  Their prices were probably along the lines of ARC thrift stores, but there wasn’t much selection. The clothing was a little dated.

The owner did tell me that they’d recently moved their location from Manitou Springs, so that might have affected how much they had in stock.  However, the good news is… On Wednesdays, everything is half-price (excludes consignment items)!
