Lots of people swear that frozen grapes are the best treat ever! Personally, I’d rather have them fresh, but my kids love them frozen.
I usually rinse the grapes in a colander, then put my kids to work taking them off the stem. Put them in bags and throw them in the freezer. Set the time for about 30 minutes and shake up the bags so they don’t all freeze in a clump.
My kids just eat them whole and frozen – anything else you guys do with frozen grapes?
Make chicken salad
Lots of chicken salad recipes call for grapes – AllRecipes.com has 51 different chicken salad recipes that include grapes! Jeremy isn’t a big chicken salad fan, so we don’t eat it often, but it sure sounds good right now!
What else are you doing with the cheap grapes? Have any of you ever made your own raisins or grape jelly?
