Due to the Labor Day holiday, we shouldn’t be getting any grocery coupon inserts in the Sunday papers this week! Smartsource and Redplum don’t publish inserts on holiday weekends, and while P&G sometimes does, we got a P&G insert this week so there shouldn’t be any inserts this week.
If you’d like to put your newspaper on hold – especially if you have multiple subscriptions – here’s the info you’ll need for that!

Safeway has some nice deals on Danimals yogurt and Mt. Olive Pickles this week; plus they also have some pretty decent “deals of the day” every day through Labor Day!

Wow, lots of great deals at Albertsons this week! Cheap pork ribs (likely the last sale of the season), organic strawberries, Heinz ketchup, French’s worcestershire sauce, pickles, Pace salsa, and more. Plus, Mezzetta peppers are free after coupon!
They are doubling and tripling coupons, which means that coupons up to $0.33 will be tripled up to $1 and coupons $0.34-0.50 will be doubled up to $1. It seems that they are no longer doubling $0.75 coupons up to $1.00 like King Soopers and Safeway do, though.
Keep in mind that Albertsons has no official coupon policy and may impose any sort of limits at any time, from the number of coupons they’ll double to whether or not they’ll double printable coupons or coupons that state “do not double”.
If you’re active, reserve, or retired military, you can get 10% off your total purchase through September 6th in celebration of Labor Day. The 10% discount is taken after all other discounts and coupons. Next Wednesday, the first Wednesday in September, seniors get a similar discount.

The Jimmy John’s at Stetson Hills is having a customer appreciation day on Thursday, September 1st: from 11 AM to 3 PM, you can get an 8-inch sub for $1! Melanie saw an ad in the paper advertising this deal, and it appears to only be valid at the location at 5885 Stetson Hills.
Don’t forget about the hot $4 pizza deal that Papa Murphy’s is having for a customer appreciation event through Wednesday!

Whole Foods Market is having a couple of one-day sales this week: on Wednesday, August 31st, they’ll have the following two items on sale that day only:
Applegate Farms Wheat-Free Corn Dogs – $3.99
Rating: these rarely go on sale, and they’re $3 off, so probably a great deal.
Rocky Ford Watermelon – $2.50 each
Rating: depends on how big they are!
Then on Friday, September 2nd, they’ll have grass-fed ground beef for $4.99/lb (limit 10 lbs). They haven’t specified what fat percentage it is. Sunflower Market has had grass-fed ground beef on sale for $3.99/lb a few times lately, so this isn’t as low as it goes but is a great price if you prefer Whole Foods’ beef!
