We are a cable-less household – in fact, right now we’re a TV-less household because for the past couple of years, we’ve used our iMac to watch TV with an adaptor that broke a couple of months ago. (Gonna have to either get it fixed or get a cheap TV before the summer Olympics!)
There’s not a lot of TV programming that we would watch anyway, but the one thing that we would like to watch is Food Network. Until cable companies allow you to pick and choose what channels you want, though, we ain’t payin’ – but we do get to watch a few Food Network shows for free on Hulu!
Right now, Hulu has Good Eats; Diners, Drives, and Dives; and Chopped – plus a variety of other Food Network shows. They release new episodes periodically, and you have a few weeks to watch them before they “expire”. (Once they’re gone, they’re gone.) It’s fun to be able to watch some Food Network without a monthly bill!
Do you watch any shows on Hulu? Have any of you dropped a cable subscription in favor of watching TV online?
