Love, love, love Sunflower Market’s price on green beans this week – $0.59/lb! We will definitely be having Sichuan Green Beans (Cook’s Illustrated recipe) this week, and lately we’ve been really enjoying green beans sauteed with shallots and garlic. Here are more recipe ideas for green beans!

And, wow – I’m in shock at the pineapple for $0.97! It’s been forever since we’ve seen that price! Here’s hoping it’s a good size. If they’re really small, King Soopers has them for $1.99 this week and when I bought one on Sunday, they were a pretty good size. Here’s some tips for cutting up and cooking with fresh pineapple.
