There will be a free event to celebrate the opening of the Olympic Games this Friday, July 27th, in downtown Colorado Springs! They’ll have a variety of Olympic-themed activities, including a BMX demonstration, a tennis court you can play on, a synthetic “ice rink”, and more! Olympians Kristi Yamaguchi and Bret Hedican will light a local Olympic torch, and you can watch the opening ceremonies on a big screen.
The event takes place in front of the USOC headquarters at the corner of Colorado and Tejon, and runs from 4-10 PM. Find out more on this fun event here.
