I wish I’d heard about this sooner; it sounds like it will be a great event! The historic McAllister House (423 North Cascade Avenue) will be having an ice cream social today (Saturday, August 25th). They’ll have old-fashioned treats at old-fashioned prices, like ice cream cones for 5¢, lemonade for 25¢, brownies for 50¢, and hot dogs for $1.00! They’ll also have music, face painting, and more.
