Don’t Pay For Parking Downtown on Saturdays in December, Plus Free Ice Skating!

Don’t slug the meters in downtown Colorado Springs if you’re there on a Saturday next month – they’re offering free parking on Saturdays during the month of December!

Also, they’re putting in a special ice rink in Acacia Park and you can skate from 10 AM to 8 PM on Saturdays and 12 PM to 8 PM during the rest of the week from December 1st through 9th!  Skating is free, and they are encouraging you to contribute to the Empty Stocking Fund in exchange for the free skating.  You can get skates at the police substation in the park.
