My best friend is getting married and I’m in charge of coordinating any “events” or “games” at her bridal shower. I told Jeremy about it and said that I wasn’t sure what I was going to do, since it’s not like you want to play “how many pieces of toilet paper does it take to go around the bride” like you do with the mom-of-honor at baby showers (which is the type of shower I usually attend in this phase of my life).
You should have seen his face. “Do you really do that at baby showers?!” He was quite incredulous and laughed about it for quite awhile. Apparently, ladies, the menfolk didn’t have any idea that women (apparently) like to do really ridiculous things at showers.
Neither the bride nor I are particularly fond of shower games, but I talked to her about it last night and she agreed that it might be nice to have something to do other than just open gifts and eat cake. So, I am asking for your suggestions for non-cheesy games to play at a bridal shower – games for people who think that shower games are ridiculous. Please help me!
