Babies R Us: Save 25% When You Trade In Old Gear

The Babies R Us “Great Trade-In Event” starts this Friday, January 18th! If you are shopping for a new carseat or other baby gear item like a bed, this is a good way to save a bit if you have a specific one you want or don’t have time to wait for another sale.  Just bring in a used car seat, stroller, bed, swing, bouncer, etc., and save 25% off the new one of your choice!  I sometimes see baby gear sales online, but they are kind of unpredictable.

We did this about a year and a half ago, before our youngest was born and needed to fit five carseats in our van.  We weren’t picky about the particular carseat, but needed to find a combination that would fit three across in the backseat of our Honda Odyssey and wanted to be able to take the seats out to the car if we had to to make sure they’d fit!  It’s tight, but we made it (mostly because the two oldest are big enough for boosters).
