It’s time to stock up on charcoal for grilling this summer! The best deals on charcoal are almost always found around Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day; and Lowe’s, Home Depot, and Walmart usually compete for the best prices. Here’s what they have on sale for Memorial Day weekend:
Walmart: two 15-lb bags (30 lbs total) for $6.98 or $0.23/lb
Lowe’s: two 20-lb bags (40 lbs total) for $9.99 or $0.25/lb, limit two
Home Depot: their flyer isn’t out yet, but I’ll update when it is
So, it looks like as of right now, the best per-pound deal is at Walmart. All of these sales should be valid through Memorial Day – Monday, May 27th.
