Sprouts Weekly: Canned Pumpkin for $1 + Apples on Sale

The highlights of Sprouts’ deals that start on Wednesday included canned pumpkin for $1.00 and a bunch of varieties of apples for $0.88/lb! Someone emailed me last week and asked when I thought we’d see rock-bottom prices on apples this year, and I looked into it and saw that we saw apples for $0.50/lb at Sprouts sometime in January of 2013, so if you are wanting to wait for the best price, it might be still to come. But, I think I’m going to buy quite a bit of apples at $0.88 and make and freeze some applesauce since it’s still a great price and there’s not guarantee we’ll see it go any lower (especially for this many varieties of apples).
