A few things I simply must tell you:
The Target at North Carefree and Powers (perhaps others, I don’t know) has new shopping carts and they are so much better than they used to be. You can actually separate them when they are stacked up! And they are quiet. They have definitely upped the Target shopping experience.
The kids got some Playmobil for Christmas and I spent a couple of hours yesterday assembling the house. About ten minutes in, I realized that IKEA and Playmobil must be owned by the same people – or perhaps vague instructions and illogical packaging are a European thing (IKEA is Swedish and Playmobil is German). The whole experience was reminiscent of the hours I spent assembling IKEA kitchen cabinets and I really do not have fond memories of that. I just want to know why they can’t package things that go together, together.
Also, I’m pretty proud of the fact that I superglued the house together and didn’t make a single mistake that required me trying to figure out how to break apart plastic pieces that have been bonded together with superglue.
Finally, I was not aware just how awesome hats are for flat, curly hair. One of my sisters frequently wears hats and raves about how awesome they are when you are having a bad hair day and I am now sorry that I didn’t believe her sooner. They are also quiet effective when you don’t have enough styling product to do all of your hair. ;)
And in case you are wondering, the hat doesn’t come off once it’s on. I’m not sure how it works when you have straight hair, but wearing a hat is an all-day commitment when your hair is curly.
Need an example of random? I think this post is a good one! :)
