Denver Post Subscription for $1/Week After Gift Card
Alice sent in a great tip for a very-rare-these-days deal on a subscription to the Denver Post: through Groupon, you can get a 20-week subscription to the Sunday-only Denver Post for $35, plus you’ll receive a $15 King Soopers gift card, which makes it $20 for twenty weeks or $1 per week. As a newspaper with a large distribution list, the coupon inserts in it contain more coupons than other smaller newspapers, so it’s the best one to buy for the coupons in Colorado.
It is valid for new subscribers only (which means you must not have received home delivery in the past 30 days). Please note that you must cancel the subscription or it will automatically renew. The Denver Post has really gotten to be a booger about canceling and to be honest, it is really quite a pain! I’m assuming that it will renew at the $35 price and you will not get another gift card.
Go here for all the information. Thanks, Alice!
$5.25 Zoo Admission for Military from September 8-14
Here is a great deal for military for the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo: from September 8th-14th, active duty and retired military personnel and their families can get admission for just $5.25 each! This is a savings of $4 for kids and $9 for adults (those are the regular military admission prices), and it’s a very rare discount for our great zoo.
Find out more information here. And for those of you who aren’t military, but still want to save, there are a couple of Cheyenne Mountain Zoo ticket discounts here.
Donate to Goodwill through Monday, Get 20% Off In-Store
Discover Goodwill of Southern and Western Colorado is having their donor appreciation days starting today! Through Monday, September 1st, donate to a Goodwill attended donation center and receive a coupon for 20% off in a retail store. The 20% off coupon is valid through September 30th.
50% Off Sales at Salvation Army, Arc for Labor Day
Salvation Army is having a series of sales for Labor Day weekend: on Friday, August 29th, take 50% off furniture; take 25% off bric-a-brac on Saturday, August 30th; and on Labor Day itself, save 50% off clothing, including red tags. (They’re open until 6 PM on Labor Day.)
At Arc Thrift Stores, the entire store – excluding current color tags – is 50% off starting Saturday and going through Monday.
$0.50 Corn Dogs at Sonic on Thursday
Sonic will have corn dogs for $0.50 all day this Thursday, August 28th! I believe that their half-priced shakes after 8 PM is also ending at the end of August.
