Sprouts Weekly Deals (8/20-8/27): Grape Tomatoes, Organic Strawberries, Palisade Peaches on Sale

The top deals at Sprouts this week include Palisade peaches for $1.48/lb – not as cheap as they were on the weekend sale a couple of weeks ago, but still a pretty great price for local peaches.  I finally got around to doing something with the peaches I bought on that weekend sale (yes, they were more than ripe!) and made Honey-Sweetened Peach-Vanilla Jam and am in the process of making some peach butter.  The jam is really good!

I noticed that Sprouts has changed the shelf price on their sausage from the butcher counter from $3.99/lb to $4.99/lb and they definitely haven’t been doing as many $2.99/lb sales lately.  I hope they do one soon (there’s no $2.99/lb sale this week) because I really liked being able to just throw the main dish on the grill with no prep and we haven’t done that nearly as much with the price increase and fewer sales.
