I have to admit that this discovery was made not because I was really trying to save money, but because King Soopers was out of one of the herbs that I needed! I recently needed sage, rosemary, and thyme for a couple of recipes and realized that I could buy all three in the “Poultry Herb Blend” and save money versus buying full packages of all three.
Most of the recipes I make need only a small portion of the package that you buy at the store, and while I usually end up finding a way to use the excess herbs in other recipes, I’d rather just buy what I really need! I rarely use sage, but even if I didn’t use the sage and just used the thyme and rosemary, I’m still saving money over buying separate packages of each and then having to figure out how to use them.
Anyway, so if you only need a bit of rosemary, thyme, or sage; but need two of those types, you’ll save a bit by buying the “Poultry Herb Blend”.
