The annual hot air balloon festival on Labor Day weekend in Memorial Park has been kind of off-again, on-again for the past couple of years, but there is definitely going to be one this year! A new organizer has taken it over, and the new Colorado Springs Labor Day Lift Off will take place this Labor Day weekend, September 4th-7th, in Memorial Park.
It looks like the balloons will inflate on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday mornings, and they’ll actually launch every day except Friday. There will be a Balloon Glow on Saturday and Sunday evenings at 7 PM.
There are other events and activities planned for the rest of the day, including a skydiving demonstration. Find the full schedule of events here.
