Denise emailed me with this tip:
The Pikes Peak Children’s Museum is still raising funds for a building, etc. but they are hosting a traveling Clifford exhibit at the Space Foundation Discovery Center on the west side from October 3rd to mid-January. For just $30, you can get a family pass to the exhibit and the Space Foundation Discovery Center good for that whole time.
Here’s more about the exhibit from the museum’s website:
Slide down Clifford’s tale, work together to fill Clifford’s big dog bowl with bones, hunt for sea shells at T-Bone’s beach or “work” in the fish and chip shop on Birdwell Island and more. No matter what activity you choose, your child will learn valuable life lessons through play. We look forward to welcoming your family and transporting you to the world of Clifford, Emily Elizabeth and all the residents of Birdwell Island!
The family pass is good for one or two adults and their children or grandchildren aged 17 and under. For more on the Clifford exhibit, go to the Pikes Peak Children’s Museum website.
The pass to the Clifford exhibit includes admission to the Space Foundation Discovery Center as well – check out what a Springs Bargains reader had to say about this local attraction that not a lot of people know about.
