I feel like I’ve been hearing about grocery pick-up from King Soopers and Walmart in the Denver area forever and I’ve been waiting very impatiently for it to come here! Finally, Walmart is bringing their grocery pick-up service to five stores in the Colorado Springs area (8th Street, Razorback Rd, Fountain, Falcon, and Monument). You can order online and pick up in-store starting October 13th. (Actually, you can create an order now, but you can’t pick it up until then.)
If you use coupon code FIRSTORDER, you’ll save 10% off your first order of $30 or more.
I seem to remember reading somewhere that they were going to have a special door at the front of the store where you could pick it up without having to go inside – does anyone know the details on that? Or maybe some of you that are in Denver have used it and can let us Springs people know how it works!
I’m not a big Walmart shopper (based on comparisons I’ve done, King Soopers’ shelf prices are very similar and when King Soopers is higher, their much better sale prices make it even out) but if King Soopers doesn’t hurry up and get their online ordering and pickup here in the Springs I just might try it out!
Thanks to Kimberly for the tip.
