2 Good Reasons to Make Sure Your King Soopers Card is Updated

I’ve posted before about a good reason to make sure your current address is listed on your King Soopers card, but remembered another one this week.

The first reason is because if your address is up to date, you might receive coupons in the mail from King Soopers.  In the past, it’s been dependent on some magic formula of what you buy, how much, and how often.  (You can’t just call and ask to be put on the list; coupons will automatically be mailed to you if you meet those mystery criteria.)

Once upon a time, I got these coupons and then they suddenly stopped, and after a lot of trouble I discovered that there were issues with the data on my King Soopers card.  Once updated it, I started receiving coupons again!

The second reason to keep your address and phone number up to date is because if you lose your key ring that has a Sooper card key fob on it and someone finds it, they can take it to King Soopers customer service and they’ll try to get in touch with the person connected to the Sooper card to let them know they have their keys!

I was at the park this week and on the bench next to me was a key ring.  No one had claimed it by the time I left, so I took it with me and turned it in at King Soopers.  I hope they are able to get in touch with the person so they can have their key back!
