The Olympic Training Center will be hosting the 2016 World Floorball Championship Qualifiers this Friday through Sunday, and admission is free! At this event the United States, Jamaica, and Canada will be competing to qualify for the world championships later this year.
I had to look up what floorball even is! Wikipedia told me that it’s “a type of floor hockey with five field players and a goalkeeper on each team.” Sounds like it could be pretty fun to watch!
Here’s the schedule for the qualifying rounds:
- Jamaica vs USA, Friday, February 12th at 7 PM
- Canada vs Jamaica, Saturday, February 13th at 3 PM
- USA vs Canada, Sunday, February 14th at 1 PM
Admission is free but they are encouraging donations. More information can be found at the USA Floorball site.
