Quite Possibly My Favorite Sam’s Club Purchase Ever

I was at Sam’s this past week and saw that they again have in stock what is quite possibly my all-time favorite purchase from there.

Last year, I was on the hunt for a glass drink dispenser, and I wanted a big one because I’d rather spend time with our guests than trying to keep drinks filled.  I gave up and purchased one that I liked, but that wasn’t very big, from World Market.  (If you want a smaller one, they have some good affordable options.)

And then I saw this beauty at Sam’s.  It holds 2.5 gallons of drinks – yes, two-and-a-half gallons!  I bought one, and then realized that I was going to love it so much that I went back and bought another so we could have one for lemonade and one for water.

We used ours quite a bit last summer and they functioned exactly like I wanted.  The one drawback is that they are heavy so it’s hard to move them when they’re full.  One time when we were using them quite a way away from the house, I made my own lemonade “concentrate” and then filled them up with water from the hose.  (Hey, we are on well water and it’s all the same!)
