History Colorado Center, plus six other area museums, will be having free admission in honor of Colorado today – that’s this Monday, August 1st.  They’ll have performances, demonstrations, and more special activities throughout the day; check out the details here.

You can also get free admission to Colorado’s state parks on August 1st.

The Rio Olympic Downtown Celebration will be held this Friday, August 5th, with a live broadcast of the opening ceremonies and many more activities to do in downtown Colorado Springs from 5-10 PM!  They’ll have flame eaters, circus performers, acrobats, and more to watch; and opportunities for kids to meet Olympians and play tee golf, amongst many other things.

This Friday through Sunday, the Denver Zoo will give you a $4.00 discount on admissions purchased from 1 to 5 PM when you show this page on their website.  Or, the same page will save you $16 on a family or family plus membership!  It’s in celebration of the arrival of four one-year-old lions.
