The Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum will host a “DIG Day” event this Saturday:
On Saturday, October 15 from 10:00am to 2:00pm, join us for Dig Day: Celebrating local mining, paleontological, and archaeological history. The Colorado Archaeological Society and other local organizations will share demonstrations, crafts, and interactive booths!
Throughout the day try your hand at “dig” themed carnival games and take home special prizes. At 2pm Colorado College archaeologist, Scott Ingram, will present a fascinating talk “Southwestern Archaeology: Understanding the Past for the Future”.
