Get Free Food for Donating Coats, Shoes, and More at Select Chick-fil-As on Wednesday

Select Chick-fil-A locations are giving away free food this Wednesday, March 1st, when you bring select items to donate to Springs Rescue Mission! The Winter Wear Drive gives you a free chicken biscuit during breakfast hours or free chicken sandwich during lunch and dinner hours when you donate the following:

Coats
Blankets
Shoes
Scarves
Gloves and mittens
Winter hats
Warm socks

Participating locations include the Chick-fil-As at Northgate, Fountain, Garden of the Gods, Chapel Hills Mall, North Carefree, and North Academy.

Don’t forget that this Tuesday is the last chance for free breakfast!

Thanks to a partnership with Children’s Hospital Colorado, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo will be offering a discount on admission this Friday, March 3rd: admission is buy one, get one for $0.75 when you mention this offer from their Facebook page. I just checked the weather and it’s supposed to be 52º on Friday – if there’s no wind, it might be a really beautiful day!

Fill-A-Bag Sale at Seven Status on Saturday

Seven Status will be having their spring bag sale this Saturday, March 4th: you can fill a bag with as much as you can fit for $10! This is from 9 AM to 12 PM only. They’re located in the University Village shopping center.

Free Storytimes, Workshops, and Classes for Kids in March

There’s a variety of places that do a free or cheap craft or storytime event for kids every month – be sure to check out the following places for their events that are going on each month.

Barnes & Noble: Free storytime and Lego Club, usually on Fridays and Saturdays.

Chick-fil-A: Free kids club from 9-11 AM on Wednesdays at the N. Carefree location and on Thursdays at the N. Academy location.

Home Depot: Free workshops (includes project, apron, and pin) for kids on the first Saturday of the month. Some stores require online registration, some (Powers & Woodmen, and Pikes Peak & Academy) do not.
