Select Chick-fil-A locations in our area will be giving away free breakfast on Wednesday mornings in October! The deal varies by location (free item of the week and whether or not a purchase is required), so check out the participating locations’ Facebook pages for information:
As of Monday morning, the N. Academy and N. Carefree locations had not posted this to their Facebook page, I did receive an email that said they are participating (purchased required) and I’m guessing they will post it soon!
The Chick-fil-A Fountain location is doing a different breakfast promo from October 2-6.

Great Wolf Lodge locations all across the U.S. are running a special through Zulily: you can get a two-night stay at their Colorado Springs location with waterpark passes for about $145 per night (Sunday-Wednesday arrival dates from October 1st to December 21st), plus various other package deals. Please be sure to read the fine print on this deal; I haven’t looked through it thoroughly but I’m going to get this posted and get off the computer so that my children stop reading over my shoulder and complaining that I never take them to do the things I post here! ?

Colorado Springs Philharmonic’s Free for Kids program is back for the 2017-2018 season: they are again offering a free ticket for children aged 7 to 17 with the purchase of an adult ticket. You can get up to two free youth tickets per adult ticket purchase (must request in-person at the box office), and you can find out more information here.
They also have Philharmonic Kids programs for students and teachers, which are interactive concerts with supplemental helps for educators – check out the info on that here. Thanks, Lindsay and Eliana!

Garden of the Gods will host a free Astronomy Day Celebration and Star Party this Saturday, September 30th, from 3 PM to 10 PM:
There will be high-powered telescopes to explore the day and night sky. Activities during the day include solar astronomy viewing, crafts and activities for kids including an exhibit hall scavenger hunt. The evening Star Party for night sky viewing will begin after sunset from 7 pm – 10 pm. All ages welcome.
