Summer reading programs for kids are about to start! Not only does the Pikes Peak Library District have a summer reading program, but you can also do one from Barnes and Noble.
If you know of any local bookstores that are doing summer reading programs, please let me know – I’d love to add more to this list.
Pikes Peak Library Summer Reading Program (Summer of Adventure)
Eligible ages: 0-18
Registration: Online or at a library branch beginning June 1st. Go here for more information.
Prizes: Kids can win prizes, but those are yet to be announced.
Barnes and Noble Summer Reading Program
Eligible ages: 1st through 6th grade
Registration: None required, go here for more information (click on the link to download the reading journal PDF, which has the info you need)
Prizes: One free book from a selection
