Free Admission Days at Denver Botanic Gardens

Tuesday, July 2nd is a free admission day at the Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield Farms! Wednesday, July 10th will be free admission to the York Street Gardens. You can find out information about each location on their website.

The next free day at Chatfield Farms will be August 6th and the next York Street free day is September 3rd.

Don’t forget that Colorado Springs Utilities has a xeriscape garden that’s free to visit! It’s small, but I think it’s worth a visit – you can see my post with photos here.

Free Bike Festival at Cottonwood Creek YMCA

The Cottonwood Creek YMCA will hold a free family bike festival this Saturday, June 22nd, with group bike rides, a bounce house, bike safety checks, a pump track, and more – plus, discounted day passes to the YMCA for the day ($5 per person or $20 per family). The East branch of the library will host a homeschool curriculum give and take on Thursday, June 27th, at 1:30 PM:

The annual Homeschool Curriculum Give & Take is all about sharing curriculum and other educational materials. Homeschoolers can bring curriculum, educational materials, books, and more to give away to other homeschoolers – no selling, all sharing, everything is free! You do NOT have to bring anything in order to take something.

Free Workshops, Crafts, and Games at Bass Pro Shops

Bass Pro Shops is holding a variety of free workshops, games, and crafts for families on select Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays for the rest of June and July. Free Paddleboarding with UpaDowna on Thursday
