Corn dogs will be 50¢ each this Thursday, January 30th, at Sonic! If you order ahead using their app, drinks and slushes will be half-price all day long.

This Saturday, February 1st, US Figure Skating will be giving free mini lessons and providing free public skating/skate rentals at the Acacia Park ice rink!  It’s from 11 AM to 1 PM, and preregistration is recommended as space is limited.  Find out more and register here.

Celebrate National Hot Chocolate Day with Rita’s Italian Ice: They’ll be offering hot chocolate topped with custard for $1 this Friday, January 31st!  Their Facebook event has the scoop.

The Denver Zoo will offer free admission to everyone this Sunday, February 2nd: They’re open from 10 AM to 5 PM (last admission at 4 PM).  The zoo recommends carpooling or public transportation as a way to avoid some of the parking hassle as these free days are very crowded.

The red envelope tradition – symbolizing good luck and well wishes for the New Year – is a gift from Outlets at Castle Rock to express appreciation for the center’s wonderful shoppers and guests from all over the world. To obtain their gift card, shoppers must relay the secret passphrase, which can be found at www.outletsatcastlerock.com/events.
