The American Nusimatic Association’s Money Museum offers free admission to everyone on the third Saturday of each month – that’s this Saturday, July 20th.  The museum is located on the campus of Colorado College and you can see more about their exhibits here.

The Cottonwood Creek YMCA will hold a free family bike festival this Saturday, June 22nd, with group bike rides, a bounce house, bike safety checks, a pump track, and more – plus, discounted day passes to the YMCA for the day ($5 per person or $20 per family).  Get all the details on the Facebook event page.

Old Navy will have their annual $1.00 flip flip sale this Saturday, June 15th!  This is for their solid-color flip flops, and I think there’s usually a limit per person, but I can’t find the details on that this year.  They’ll also have a golden flip flop prize hunt – get all the details on the Old Navy home page.

HomeFix will be hosting a free kids’ workshop this Saturday, June 15th: They’ll  have a free craft, bounce house, face painting, hot dogs, and more!  Check out their Facebook event page for details, time, and location.

A free Get Outdoors Day event will be held at Memorial Park in Colorado Springs this Saturday, June 1st: they’ll have opportunities for the whole family to fish, bike, rock climb, paddleboard, and more!  Get all the details here.

The Tri-Lakes Lions Club is hosting a fishing derby for kids this Saturday, June 1st, at Palmer Lake: Bring non-perishable food items to donate to Tri-Lakes Cares as your admission fee, and have fun fishing and potentially winning prizes!  They are encouraging you to bring your own fishing gear and bait, but will have a limited number of poles and bait that you can borrow.  Get all the details here.

This weekend is also the annual free fishing weekend in Colorado.

Focus on the Family Bookstore will host their annual Kids Day this Saturday, May 18th, with lots of discounts in the store, activities for the family, and “food for a steal”!  They have a schedule of events on their Facebook page.
